Great for Key Stage 1, this highly creative workshop is great for enhancing literacy and local knowledge and historical stories.
Students will participate in a range of creative activities exploring the story, including drama, dance and movement, and art, with activities such as picture making and soundscaping. Can be adapted to suit different year groups.
Perfect for a morning or afternoon session.
Great for Key Stage 2, this workshop is fantastic to support local history studies. Drawing on a wide range of themes from the book about the real life Cornishman Thomas Pellow's dramatic life following capture in the 1700s, students will delve into the story through drama, movement and art, with activities such as tableau making and collaborative art work. Can be adapted for each year group.

Great Fire of London Workshop
Explore this historical event through drama and creative arts. Using drama, movement and art, students will delve into the story of the great fire, and immerse themselves in the time period, understanding its impacts and gaining deeper knowledge of life in those times.
