Dance
Great for providing opportunities for physical activity as well as building team work and communication skills, our dance clubs explore a range of styles and genres and cover various activities such as
- warming up and stretching
- learning dance moves and techniques
- learning and practising routines
- choreography and dance creation
- dance games
Drama
Fantastic for linking with and improving literacy skills as well as linking well with other subjects such as history, our drama sessions are highly creative and rewarding. Sessions include activities such as
- warming up
- drama games
- devising
- script work
- voice work
- expression
Singing
These popular sessions provide a great opportunity for peer connection and team work, and can also be used to support current topics being studied. Sessions include -
- warming up the face, body and voice
- vocal exercises
- learning and practising songs
- learning group singing and ensemble techniques
